Brown & Ivory Checkered Beni Ourain Rug
Big, even squares alternate between deep brown and warm ivory across the whole field. At this scale the grid reads clearly from across the room, while the shaggy pile softens every edge so the pattern never feels hard or digital.
Where it works
It gives a living room or an open-plan space a strong anchor. Pair it with oak, linen and black metal, or let it carry a quiet sofa in plain fabric. In a bedroom, a 5×8 or 6×9 at the foot of the bed is enough to set the tone.

Woven to order
This brown checkered Beni Ourain rug does not exist until you order it. Weaving takes 2–4 weeks, then the rug spends 10–15 days in transit to your door with tracking. Because every rug is knotted by hand, line widths, square sizes and wool tones vary slightly from the image: the picture shows the design, your rug will be its own version of it.
Shipping and returns
Shipping is free on orders over $350. Below that: $60 to the UK and EU, $80 to the US, $150 elsewhere. US customers pay any import duty on delivery. You can return a standard-size rug within 21 days of delivery; return shipping is paid by you. Custom-sized rugs are made for one room and cannot be returned.
